Hopes remain high amongst many investors, policy makers and politicians that the world of social investment is going to support many of the UK's estimated 68,000 social enterprises to prosper. Yet the response from frontline social enterprises has been muted to say the least. This one day conference from Social Enterprise Network seeks to explore this divergence further and asks the question- 'Does Social Finance Understand Social Need?'
