New leadership bursary awards for social enterprises

North West Social Enterprise leaders can apply for a 'one-off' 100% bursary worth up to £10,000 to join the prestigious leadership LEAD programme delivered in Manchester.

Prof. Lynn Martin at Manchester Metropolitan University announced the bursary awards today to support up to three social enterprises that employ between 5-50 staff.

Bursaries will be awarded on a first come basis to eligible organisations that can start on the programme commencing 2nd September. Selection is by a short application and informal interview.

Prof. Martin adds, 'We are committed to combining our expertise in leadership with our first hand knowledge of running social enterprises. We have already seen the results that LEAD delivers and I am delighted we are able to invest in this sector.'
