Boardroom Blitz
An interactive learning event for SEN members- Human Interest are delighted to deliver this highly participative event, specifically created for Board members, senior managers and SE employees who work closely with Boards, who are engaged in designing or delivering strategy. The only real requirement for attendance is a willingness to take part in what should be a lively session!
MeCycle
MeCycle is a social enterprise, operated by Autism Initiatives, which receives donated bikes and refurbishes them for resale. We offer supported work placement opportunities for adults with Autism or Asperger syndrome.
Work is available in admin, bike collections, scrap metal recycling, stripping bike parts, cleaning and refurbishing bikes and parts.

This support can be used to help you further develop trading activities; diversify your social and environmental activities and much more besides.

Endowment Match Challenge opens to receive donations
A government scheme to set up a permanent endowment of up to £150m to fund community projects has opened to receive donations.
The Endowment Match Challenge aims to raise £100m in donations through individual and corporate philanthropy. Donations received will then be matched with £50m of government investment. Endowment funds raised will continue to grow over the life of the programme to ensure a sustainable source of funding for communities in years to come.

Steven Gerrard Foundation Launches Grants Programme
The Steven Gerrard Foundation was set up as a registered charity in February 2011 by Steven Gerrard with the Consortium for Street Children to award grants to charitable organisations throughout the UK that work with disadvantaged children and young people up to the age of 18 years.
The grants programme is intended to provide relief to children and young people in need, whether through illness, family breakdown, disability, involvement in the streets, financial or educational disadvantage.
