Her highly textured mixed media paintings invite the viewer to appreciate the aesthetic value in the everyday details of the built environment. The exhibition will take place from 4th May to 11th June 2010 and will be open to the public from 12-6pm Monday to Friday.

Green Office's are Growing Offices

Many offices will be 'going green' by installing low power lightbulbs or getting staff to cycle to work, but Liverpool Vision- in association with UrbanAgriculture- would like to propose something more innovative, using offices and buildings to grow things- 'real green'!

School for Social Entrepreneurs Liverpool Student Chosen for Global Fellowship Programme

Environmental Social Entrepreneur Matt Smith, of Fresh Minds, is one of a hundred young people chosen from across the UK to participate in the Prime Minister's Global Fellowship programme where he will travel to India to investigate issues of culture, language, education and global enterprise.

The fully funded six week journey is an investigation into the social, economic and environmental effects of globalisation and learning how we can play a positive role in the process.
